The FRIS Fund is intended to create synergies between the local actors. It has been developed by SIPRO, in agreement with the Provincial Authority of Ferrara and Cassa di Risparmio, thus allowing local enterprises to access soft loans to carry out innovative investments.

Fris is a tool funded by EIB - European Investment Bank, which thus provides enterprises with substantial and attractive soft loans to carry out innovative investments.

The soft loan consists in a contribution toward interest payments on loans, up to 80% of the investment at an extremely low rate, below the reference rates applying to the sector, available in a very short time.

SIPRO does not only manage the call for proposals process, but it has also raised a loan from CARIFE under the FRIS fund for a total amount of 1.5 million Euros, whereas the Provincial Authority covers the bank expenses related to the loan as well as the fund management costs.
