| Developed areas made available for new settlements | ||
SIPRO identifies the most competitive local areas; it develops them by equipping them with services and makes them available for enterprises interested in finding a new location. Today, more than 37 hectares are immediately available locally, under SIPRO’s direct management, in addition to a further 20-hectare public property registered in the larger municipalities. |

New public property manufacturing areas have been registered in the framework of the Investinferrara project and a computer-based area catalogue has been set up. The catalogue serves as a true “promotional shop-window” providing potential investors with an array of settlement lots available in the Province of Ferrara. |

| Land Infrastructures | ||
The Development Agency redevelops the already existing infrastructures, designs and builds new innovative infrastructures to support new small start-up companies, in liaison with the Local Authorities and on the basis of the local needs analysis. |

| Furthermore, it has set up and manages a Provincial Incubators system. | ||
| Support to enterprises | ||
SIPRO technical staff is available to carry out site inspections in the free developed lots. Once an enterprise has chosen its lot, it shall receive all the necessary support in dealing with authorities in charge of the settlement (Local Authorities, utilities companies, etc.) to speed up administrative procedures. Enterprises also receive a so-called “after care” service to strengthen the presence of the investor on the territory, through continuous information on funding sources, enlargement plan assessment, support for the search of qualified subcontractors and partners. |
