SIPRO Agenzia per lo sviluppo - Ferrara is the agency promoting the local development of the Province of Ferrara .

Its main objectives are:
• Designing and developing infrastructures to foster economic development, in particular of industrial settlement areas
• Strengthening and regeneration of the existing industrial assets
• Development of co-operation networks between the local authorities and the enterprises
• Regional marketing and attraction of new investments.

SIPRO has been operating in this area for almost 30 years. During this whole period it has set up an organisation structured into two operating branches: an “Industrial settlement Infrastructure” sector and a “Local development and economic promotion” sector, supported by a very lean and efficient administrative department.

SIPRO avails itself of economists, engineers specialized in designing industrial areas, start-up experts, professionals having a longstanding experience in the juridical-administrative area, local development and the design and management of European projects.

SIPRO is the privileged partner for entrepreneurs wishing to invest in Ferrara :
• it helps companies identify the area that better suits their specific needs
• it provides tutoring for the development of new enterprises
• it promotes the exchange of best practices between the enterprises and the production systems
• it coaches the newly established enterprise towards its growth and rooting in the local territory

The Incubator System
It is a modular structure set up thanks to EU funds to foster and support the growth of new enterprises. So far, as many as 20 new enterprises have been coached and established in the districts of Ferrara , Copparo, Ro and San Giovanni di Ostellato

SIPRO has developed an integrated regional Marketing plan funded under ERDF - Objective 2 schemes, aimed at attracting new investments, at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship and strengthening the existing economic fabric, on behalf of the Province of Ferrara .
