To carry out a study aimed at identifying the technical feasibility conditions for the development of a “second-generation” industrial area according to national and regional rules and regulations that set forth the development of new “ecologically equipped industrial areas ”.

The project is subdivided into four phases:

- the analysis of the “wide area” – including the seven Municipalities of the Province of Ferrara, as well as the Municipalities of Finale Emilia (MO), Galliera, Malalbergo, Castello d'Argile, S. Pietro in Casale and S. Giovanni in Persiceto (BO) – to examine the main economic sectors dynamic
- the infrastructure needs and innovative business services analysis
- the analysis of the reference regulatory framework to identify opportunities that benefit enterprises, the procedures to be implemented to set up ecologically equipped industrial areas and their related infrastructures
- the definition of possible scenarios, according to the role, function and features of the management authority in charge of the ecologically equipped industrial area.
